Dr. Micah Tryba grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign in 2021. She spent the first five years of her career practicing at a hospital in downtown Chicago before relocating to Utah with her fiancé and their Rottweiler, Yara, to enjoy more sunshine, skiing, and time outdoors.

Dr. Tryba’s path to veterinary medicine was shaped by the loss of her childhood Golden Retriever, Lucy to an aggressive form of cancer. That experience inspired her to pursue a career where she could support other pet parents through the joys and challenges that come with loving an animal. She is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships with pets and their people. She believes the best medicine happens when owners feel heard and understood, and when she can partner with families to advocate for their animals. Her goal is to help your pets live their healthiest and happiest lives through every stage.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Tryba has a lifelong love of music and singing. Fun fact: she earned herself a spot on Team Blake Shelton in Season 12 of NBC’s The Voice.

Dr. Tryba strongly believes kindness and understanding are incredibly powerful, both in medicine and in life. She cannot wait to meet you and your pets!
