Dr. Sophie Charlton grew up in Vermont and Minnesota. She attended Stanford University where she sprinted on the division I track and field team and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and Studio Art with Phi Beta Kappa honors. After a couple of years in Utah, she returned to California and graduated Phi Zeta from the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Her veterinary interests include behavior, nutrition, shelter medicine, surgery, and wildlife rehabilitation. When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Sophie enjoys snowboarding, playing piano and violin, traveling to remote corners of the world, and creating art. Most of all, she loves spending time with her super scruffy mutt, Maisy.
